ody took his first walk today. He only made it about 100 ft but, that is pretty good considering he still has two chest tubes in.

Wednesday is our radiation consult and hopefully we will go home after that. I am not suppose to be staying the night with him but, I make sure to not go anywhere come evening and the nurses have not given me the boot yet. Jody is much happier having me here. We still have to keep the hotel in case I get the boot. It also looks like he will be discharged to the hotel room for a night or two before we go home.

Weisenthal called last night to let us know they got the specimen and they were working on getting cells out to test on. I will probably hear more sometime later tonight from them.

I know people have called and we do appreciate the calls. I haven't been answering the phone though. I spend almost all my time in Jody's room and he is either sleeping or we watch a show. I don't want to be on the phone while I'm in with him. Thank you for the calls and we will get back to everyone in a few days.
